Charles Gathua Ngunjiri

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Charles Gathua Ngunjiri, which occurred on 24th December, 2022.

Son to the late Stanley Ngunjiri, Mrs. Esther Nyawira Ngunjiri and Ruth Wangui Gategwa. Son-in-law to the late Mr. and Mrs. Mwaniki/Kariiri.

Loving husband to Florence Njoki Gathua. Father of Maryanne Muasya, James Gathua, Patrick Gathua and the late Lydia Wangui. Loving Father-in-law to Albert Muasya, Nelita Wamugunda and Silvya Maina. Loving grandfather to Charles Gathua, Ahadi Muasya and Miles Gathua.

He was brother to the late Wanjiru, Muthoni, Nyaguthii, Mumbi, Njeri, Mbata,Wanjuki, Wanjugu and the late Waithiegeni. Step-brother to Grace, Gategwa, Rufus and Kagera, among others.

Funeral arrangements are being held at his home in Skuta Estate – Nyeri. Funds to support the funeral should be send to Silvia – 0723 898 557.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan), on Saturday 31st December, 2022 for a church service at PCEA Ruring’u, from 10.00am. He will be laid to rest at his home in Skuta.
