Joyce Wanja Atto

It is with deep sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs Joyce Wanja Atto that occurred on 24 December 2022 after a short illness.

She was the beloved wife of Sospeter Atto Makata, mother to Jeremiah Ndegwa, Nicholas Makata and Josephine Mwando. Loving grandmother to Shaza Jamie.

Daughter of the late Jeremiah Ndegwa Kahiti and the late Tabitha Waithira Ndegwa. Daughter in law to the late Enos-Makata and the late Josephine Mwando. Sister to Mary Wanjihia, Jonathan Karanja, Job Nduati, Elizabeth Wambui and Christopher Mung’ara.

Sister in law to the late Elsama Ebole, Mildred Okonji, Milkzadeck Omuyoma, Mika Abiero and Morris Mwenje. She was a dear aunt and caring friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Tatu, Kiambu County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at ACK Tatu Parish on Friday 30th December 2022 at 9:00am. The funeral entourage will immediately thereafter depart for Luanda, Vihiga County .where the burial ceremony will take place on Saturday 31st December 2022.

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.
