The BOM and the entire Karima Boys’ High School fraternity regrets to announce the passing on of Charles Githaiga Wanjau; a Teacher at Karima Boys’ High School – Othaya, Nyeri County, after a short illness.

Son of the late Peter Wanjau Ndirangu and Mary Nyaguthii Wanjau of Ihugo Village, Karima North Sub-county, Nyeri County. Son-in-law to Francis Warui and Beatrice Njoki of Maragi Village Kiambogo.

Beloved husband to Lilian Mumbi. Loving father to Goodmary Nyaguthii (Muruguru Girls High School) and Peter Faithful Wanjau (Karima Primary School).

Brother to Teresia Murugi, Margaret Mumbi, Ann Gathoni, A,A,ucy Wairimu, Jecinta Wangui, Hellen Wairimu, Antony Ndirangu, Ambrose Kariuki and Alice Njeri.

Brother-in-law to Teresia Wairimu, Paul Ndirangu, Jennifer Wanjiru, Eunice Murugi, Michael Ndirangu, Douglas Gakinya, Rebbeca Njambi and Esther Wothaya. Uncle and grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves PCEA Tumutumu Hospital Mortuary – Karatina on Friday 30/12/2022 at 8.00am for funeral service to be held at Giathenge Shopping Center and thereafter trial will be held at his parent’s home in Ihugo Village, Karima North Sub-county, Nyeri County.
