Christopher Maitho Murigu (former KANU & TNA chairman Laikipia)

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Christopher Maitho Murigu.

Son of the late Benson Murigu and Mariam Kirigo Murigu. Son in law of the late George Mwangi and Lucy Wangari. Beloved husband of Josephine VVambui Maitho. Cherished father of Daisy Maitho, Murigu Maitho and Ann Maitho. Grandfather of Christopher Maitho, Elio lrungu, Christopher Jr. and Joy Wambui and uncle of many. Brother of the late Mumbi Murigu, the late Mwangi Murigu, the late Gathigia Murigu, Nyaguthii, the late Wanjiku Murigu, the late Muriuki Murigu, Gitimu Murigu, the late Mithamo Murigu, Karua Murigu, Wachira Murigu and Macharia Murigu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Emess Hotel Nanyuki and his home Baraka Nanyuki for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki Teaching & Referral Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 8th January 2020 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial at his Kabanga farm in Matanya Laikipia County.
