Colonel Duncan Kipyegon Keitany

t is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Colonel Duncan Kipyegon Keitany of KDF, through a tragic helicopter crash while on official duty on 18th April 2024.

He was son of the late Chepkeitany Chepkurui, the late Talai and the late Kabon of Cheraik Saos.

He was husband of Norah Keitany and father of Lorraine (Sanlam Investments East Africa), Mitchell (UON), Ryan (KU), Mercy (Acacia Park School).

Brother of Vincent, of the late Harrison, Jane, Cheruiyot, Deborah, the late James, the late Grace and Haron.

He was Son-in-law of the late Edward Mong, the late Esther Mong and Emily Mong.

Brother-in-law of Justus, Charles, Jennifer, Patrick, Faith, Tom, Maureen, Moses, Anthony, Jepchumba and Jepkorir.

Funeral arrangements are going on at the family home in Ongata Rongai.

There will be a Requiem Mass at Moi Air Base Eastleigh on Wednesday 24th April 2024.

The fundraising to assist with the send off will be held on Wednesday, 24°’ April 2024 at his home along Kore Street, Acacia Village, Ole Kasasi, Ongata Rongai from 5:30 PM and on Wednesday 24th April 2024 at his rural home Cheraik, Eladama Ravine from 4.00 PM. Main fundraising on Thursday 25th April at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5;30 PM.

The funeral will be on Saturday 27th April 2024 at Cheraik Saos home.
