Corporal Charles Muthomi Marangu

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Corporal Charles Muthomi Marangu of Buruburu police station DCIO’s office. He met his untimely death through a tragic road accident on Thika super highway on 6th Sept 2017, while on duty.

Son of Mr & Mrs Sammuel Marangu Mbogori and Bernice Marangu. Son-in-law of Mr and Mrs Edward Mburugu and the late Jeniffer Mburugu. Husband of Jane Gakii Muthomi. Father of Penina Kendi, Kevin Mutwiri and Tracy Kathure. Brother of Nicholus Kathurima of Chai Trading Ltd Msa, Patrick Mwenda (TSC Kajiado), Doreen Nguta (Office of the president Meru). He has left behind several sisters and brothers, in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Cardinal Otunga Plaza 7th floor, Nairobi & at his home in Kangaita – Nanyuki and on Wednesday at Sea Boat Hotel along Kangundo road. Cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 15th Sept at 7.00am and the funeral service will be held at Kangaita MCK church at 10.00am and thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home Kangaita, Nanyuki.
