Dan Kipkosgei Mesis

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the promotion to glory of Mr Dan Kipkosgei Mesis which occurred on 17th August, 2022. Until his demise, he was the Director of Administration, State Department for University Education and Research, Ministry of Education. He was a Board Member of Koitalel Samoei University College, Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital and Rivatex East Africa Ltd.

Loving husband to Emily Sawe of KUTRRH and adoring father to Carren Cheruto Musyoka. Son to Rev. Barnaba Mesis and the late Drusilla Mesis, Step-son to Patroba Mesis. Father-in-law to Joseph Musyoka.

Son-in-law to the late Hosea and Selina Birgen (Kapmirmet) and step son-in-law to the late Naomi and Milka Birgen.

Brother to Betsy Biwott, Salome Ngelel, the late Elkana, Loice, Enock and Ruth Mesis Keitany.

Brother-in-law to Peter Biwott, Sammy Ngelel, Godwin Mwamburi, Peris Mesis, Mercy Mesis, Jeremy Keitany, Paul Birgen, Hon. Peris Simam, Sarah Tenai, Diana Limo, Jeremy Birgen, among others.

Nephew to Bunyatta & Kaptuumo family and uncle to many. Grandfather to Trevor and Shawn.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Tarakwa and Ruai (Nairobi) homes for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday August 26th at 9.00am for a prayer service at AIC Tarakwa. The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 27th 2022 at his home in Tarakwa farm, Uasin Gishu County.
