Daniel Maina Karanja (Maish)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Daniel Maina Karanja (Maish), through a tragic road accident, on Friday 5th February, 2021. He worked for Nurex Cargo Company in Dubai.

Loving husband of Salome Waithera. He was born to the late Moses Karanja and Rebecca Njoki. Brother of Joyce Wanjiru and Oscar, Janet Wanjiku and Kariuki, Irene Nyambura and the late Githaiga, Catherine Waithera, Mary Nduta and Mwaura, Nellius Muthoni, Rose Njeri and M’Mukindia, Agnes Mugeci and Muturi, Margret Kanuthu and Njau and Emmah Wahu. Loving father of Gracious Wanjiku and Elyanna Wambui. Son-in-law of the late Mathew Gitau and Phylis Njoki. Brother-in-law of Nyambura, Kuria, Wairimu, Wanjiku, Njoroge, Magiri, Wangari, Kongo and Kimani. He was a friend and business partner to many in Dubai and Kenya. He will be dearly missed by many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends continue to meet at his home Kenyatta Road Juja, his parent’s home in Mutheru Village, Kandara and Blue Springs Hotel Thika Road, starting from 6.00pm, 8th to 12th February, 2021.

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home, on Saturday 13th February, 2021, at 7.00am for funeral service and burial, at his family home In Mutheru Village, starting 11.00am.

We thank God for Daniel’s life and the many lives he impacted.
