Daniel Wanyoike Gathai

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father Daniel Wanyoike Gathai on 11^th February 2017.

Son of the late Paul Gathai Murathi and late Beth Wambui Gathai. Son in law of Florence Mukami, and the late Samuel Kinyua. Husband of Joyce Wangari Wanyoike. Loving father of Elizabeth Gathai (Equity Bank), Florence Mukami (Germany), Paul Gathai, Sammy Kinyua and Nahashon Njoroge (Swivel Group).

Brother of the late Jane Nduta Wambue, Uncle of Paul, Ann, Shiku, Pachi (UK), Shiro (Germany) and many others. Brother in law of Allan, Lucy, Jane and Hellen. Father-in-law of Eunice. Esther and Shiku and Grandfather of Ronny, Dan, Joy, Tedd, Dylan and Tasha.

Family and friends are meeting every day from Tuesday 14th February to Friday 17^th February from 5.30pm at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, and at the family’s home in Ol Kalou for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Ol Kalou Mortuary on Saturday 18th February 2017 at 8.00am for funeral and burial service at his farm in Manyatta Village, Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County.
