It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the death of Daphne Rawlins Okech of D. Okech & CO. Advocates, Kisumu on 6th October 2018.

Beloved daughter of late Michael Oketch and Mama Matildah Oketch of Seme Ratta. Loving mother of Michael Fred Oketch (KCA, Kisumu). Sister of the late Brenda and the late Hillary Oketch, Carmen (USA), Linda (Liberty Insurance, Nrb), Ephraim (USA), Maureen (Aga Khan Hos., Ksm), Callistus (D. Okech & CO. Advocates), Benno (Nrb), and Ednner (USA). Niece of Douglas Bala and Patricia Owiti, Mary Anyango, among others. In-law of Michael Ochieng (Palladium Group), Illeen Odhiambo (Kisumu), Joan Onyango and Alice Nyawira (Karatina University) among others.Aunt of Nobert, Mark,Arnold, Judah, Jacob, Matildah, Hillary amongst others. Cousin of Patrick, Philip, Victor, Winnie, Sylvester among many others.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 2nd November 2018 for a requiem mass at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Kibuye from 10.00am. Thereafter it leaves for home.

Burial will be held on 3rd November 2018 in East Seme sub-location Ratta near Nduta Primary School.
