Dr. Cornelius Wanyonyi Wamalwa (OGW)

It is with profound regret that we announce the passing on of Dr. Cornelius Wanyonyi Wamalwa (OGW) former DC Dagoretti, and Deputy County Commissioner Kuria and Busia which occurred on 23/10/2018 at Mediheal Hospital Eldoret after a short illness.

He was son to the late Dismas Wamalwa and Brigta Naniala. He was husband to Imeldah Wamalwa, loving father of Linda, Mercy, Cindy, Jeff and Wesley. Father in-law to William and Martin. First-born brother to Chris Juma Wamalwa (USA), Batista, Theta, Electine, Antony, Everlyne, Dennis, Herbert, Benjamin, Fred, Peter and others. Brother-in-law to Omukambisi Mark Barasa, John, Cornelius, Jennifer Juma Wamalwa (USA), Anna and others. He was cousin brother to Topi Lyambila and others. He was uncle to Jack Wamboka, Eric, Nabutola, Robin, and many others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kimaeti village, Bumula Constituency, Bungorna County.

There shall be a major fundraiser on Tue 6/11/2018 at the United Kenya Club, Nairobi starting 5.00 PM followed by another fundraiser in the Kimaeti home on 7/11/20I8.

A requiem mass shall be held on 2/11/2018 at the Consolata Shrine Westlands at 1.00 PM.

Burial is scheduled for Saturday 10/11/2018 at his Kimaeti home.
