Its with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce  promotion to glory of David Kipngeny Rono

He was the beloved husband of the late Mrs Elizabeth Rono and loving father of Kipkurui, Chepkemoi, Cheruiyot. Chepkoech, Chelangat, Chemuta, Kiptoo, Chepkorir, Chepkurui and Kipchirchir

He was father in-law of Collins, William, Benard, Ngugi, Waithaka, Dougias, Winy, Risper and Judy.

He was eldest son of the late Jacob Kiprono Tegerei and the late Rachel Cherono Tegerei and step son of Catherine Tegerei, He was brother of the late Alice, Florence, Rebecca, General Jonathan Rono, Charles, oseph, Paul, Julius, Mathew, Caroline, Jackilie, Magdaline and Wesley.

He was the proud grandfather of Happiness, Audrey, Peace, Medline, Mercy, Mitchel. Emmanuel, Melinda, Marow, Brian, Juliet, Linet, Linus, Gladwell, Badyn, Fidel, Sammy. Samarithan, Mitchell, Lincoln, Brarnwel, Given, Naveen, Devis and Damian.

The daily prayers and meetings are being held at his home in Chepkoinik.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home on Friday 5th September 2025 at 12:00pm for a funeral service at Chepkoinik A.I.C. Church.

Burial service will take place on Saturday 6th September 2025 from 10.00am at Chepkoinik Primary School grounds. Burial will be held thereafter at the family home in Chepkoinik Village, Kapsoit Ward, Kericho County.
