It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of David Mburu Njoya formerly of Henkel Chemicals E.A on 18th November 2019.
Son of the late Mwalimu Zacharia Njoya and Agnes Waithira. Husband of Monica Wairimil. Father of Mary Waithira, Rose Njeri (Sonkar Hardware), Jane Mwangi, Emmah Wambui, Grace Wanjiru, George Njoya and Martin Njoroge (Henkel Chemicals E.A.). Brother of the late Wango Mwangi, Emily Wambui Waikau, he late Rufus Wahinya, the late John Njoya, Fredrick Kimani and Robert Ndegwa.
Grandfather of David Mburu, Caroline Wanjeri (Germany), Alex Murimi (Qartar), Nick Irungu (SA), Dr. Irene Nyambura, Monica Wairimu, Ann Wangari, Victor Kariuki, Kevin Mburu (Equity Bank), Stella Wambui, Alvin Mburu, Dorcas Nyambura, Michele Wairimu, Trevan Mburu, Shantel Wairimu, Christine Wairimu and Monica Wairimu. Great grandfather of Waithira Mburu. Father-in-law of Humphrey Njoroge, Josphat Kariuki of (Sonkar Hardware) Samuel Mwangi (Mugori Boys) Anthony Chege (Nairobi City County), Lucy Wangechi and Carol Wanjira.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 5.30pm for prayers at Accra Hotel and at his home in Kiria, Mugoiri Location, Murang’a County.
Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home in Kabati on Tuesday 26th November 2019 at 7.30am followed by a service at St. Stephen’s Church Kagumo at 11.00am thereafter burial will be at his farm in Kaihungu Kiria Village.

It is humble note I send my condolences that I have learned today about Baba Waithira after months since his departure who was a close old friend of my late father. May our good lord provide to the family and let him rest in peace.
