David Mugo Kagiri
1945 – 2019
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our Dad Mzee David Mugo Kagiri. Formely of Kenya Railways Ltd. He hails from Eldoret Kapsoya Estate and lgure Farm respectively.
Son of the late Monica Nyambura. Husband of the late Mary Wanjiku. Brother of the late Peter Wagana and Mary Wanjiku Kamau. Father of Regina Nyambura (London), Susan Njeri Kasango (S/A), Mary Maceke (London), Geoffrey Kagiri (London), Alice Wanjiru (Eldoret), Elizabeth Wanjugu (Nrb), Grace Mburu (Nrb), Joyce Wangui (Nrb) and Jane Wanjiru (Entebbe). Father-in-law of Paul Kasango, Mick Luzolo, Mary Mwikali, Joel Mwangi, Benard Kingangi, Wilson Mburu Kangethe and Bidan Patrick Muroki. Grandfather of David and Lilian (UK), Evans Kagiri (UK), Nicholas, Michael, Felicity (all S/A), Nicholus and Jason Louzolo (London), Bobby and Michael (London), David Mugo, Faith, Cate and Allan Kamau, (all from Eldoret), Edgar, Mellisa, Leon, Lemiyan, Lenana, Lamiyah, Edel and Eldad Mugo (all in Nrb), Precious, Silvia, Ninah and Noella Muroki (all from Entebbe). Great-grandfather of MCB Kagiri.
Family and Friends are meeting at his Home at Kapsoya Estate, near St. Mary’s Hospital, Eldoret. Other Meetings are at St. Paul’s Chapel St.Thomas Hall from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. During day time meetings are at Mwewe Apartments, Kagundo Road, off Kuguru close, Kileleshwa.
The cortege leaves at Umash funeral home from 8.00am in the morning. The burial will be on 20th March at his farm at Karibaribi near Mary Hills Thika.
