It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Diana Muthoni Macharia.

Daughter of the late Eliud Gitome Kariuki and the late Peris Muringi Kariuki.Wife of the late Samuel Macharia Maina. Mother of Geofrey Maim, the late James Michuki, the late Jane Wacera, the late Peris Muringi, Beatrice Njeri, Alice Wanjiru, Susan Njoki and Francis Kariuki. Sister of the late Mwangi, the late Njora, the late Janet. Abdalla, the late Eunice Wangare, the. late Marion Gikandi, the late Monicah Wairimu, the late Muchira Kariuki, the late Eunice Mwembu and Florence Wabaiya. Step-sister of Mwangi, Macharia, George, Karuga, Muthoni, Watiri and Muriithi. A dear auntie, friend, mentor, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Kariobangi South and Kangema.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary, on Thursday 4th February, 2021, at 7.00am, for a funeral and burial service at their family home in Muranga County, Kangema Sub-county, Muguru Location, Kihuro village.
