It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved family Matriarch, Dorcas Koli Kithunzi (DK) on 21st June, 2020 at Jordan Hospital, Kitui Town.

Daughter of the late Musanga Ngio and the late Muindi Kilong’i. Wife of Stephen Kithunzi Walii and co-wife of the late Annah Syomiti. Mother of Priscilla Ndunge, Thomas Mutunga, the late Joyce the late Kilonzo Kithunzi, the late Mary Kithunzi, Margaret Kithunzi (NWHSA), and Grace Kasyuta. Step-Mother of Lasimah Kyongo, the late Muthini Kithunzi, Aphiah Kavutha, Alfred Musembi, Elizabeth Nduku and Ephantus Kitonga. Sister of the late Mulu Musanga, Mbalu Simitu and the late Mwanzia Musanga. Mother in Law of Charles Kitute, Ruth Thomas (GCA), Robert Mau and Abdallah Mwayuya. Grandmother of Ashley, Sarah, Wambui, Winnie, Joyce Kibibi, Eric, Joel, Debra, Dorcas, Mareen, Dareen, Feroz and others. Great Grandmother of Tyron, Tatenda, Sonia and others. Grandmother in law of Joseph Nyaga, Joseph Otieno and others. In-law of late Kitute Maundu, late Jedidah Kitute, late Mulatya Nzuki, late Wayua Mulatya, Richard Njau, late Mary-Rose Njau, Ali Mwayuya and the late Mwanahamisi Toya. Relative and friend to many others.

The cortege will leave Jordan Hospital, Kitui Town on Saturday, 27th June, 2020. Burial will be on the same day, Saturday, 27th June, 2020 at her home in Ngungi Village, Ngungi Sub-location, Zombe Location, Kitui East Sub-County, Kitui County.
