It is with deep regret and sorrow that we the Mwangale Family announce the death of our beloved Douglas Makhapila Wekhomba.

Son of Peter Wekhomba and the late Mama Lois Shimuli Wekhomba, step son of Elizabeth, the late Loice, Susan and Selina.

Father of Glenn and Gillian Makhapila. Grandson of the late Philipo Mwangale & the late Zipporah Muvoka and the late Joseph Karamoja & Marita Khalituma.

Brother of David, the late Annedy, Anna, Mable, Ressa, Florence, Betty, Grace, the late Martha, Daniel, and Ben. Step brother of the Phillips, Victor, Effie, Patricia, Margie, Irene and others.

Nephew of the late (Absolom, Esther, Rachel, Susan, John, Hon. Elijah Mwangale and Gladys), Maria, Rosemary, Richard, Wycliffe, Alice, Ressa, the late Joyce, the late Joseph, the late James, Edwin, the late Gadi, the late Titus, Aggrey, Christopher, Mary the late Eunice, Hellen and Charles.

He was a cousin of the Absoloms, Musamias, Wakhungus, Wasikes, Washisinos, Luswetis, Lumonyas, Omonyas, Wafulas, Makhapilas, Basas, Weres, Oburas, Kokonyas, Murumbas, Sinjass, Makanyangas, The Gadi’s, Mugavanas, Mukonyoles, Shivambos, Makundas, Okumus, Okoths, Itolondos among others. Brother-in-law to the late Kezia, Kithinji, Kimani,Welangai, Osilu and Gladys Gitahi. Uncle to Harriet, Anthony, Albert, Angela, Brian, Lionel, Leslie, Leemond, Gloria, Jesse,Tessy, Daisy, Austin, Barbsy, Phillip, Cyrill, Cryilla, Delia, Kory, Trishia, Audry and Khasoa.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Nairobi Club at 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds raiser on Tuesday 11/07/2017 at 5.00pm at the same venue. Contributions shall be sent to Mpesa No. 0722-641-736.

There will be a requiem service at Friends International Centre Ngong’ Road on Wednesday at 11.00am. The Burial will be on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Matili village, Kimilili, Bungoma County.
