It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. Ben Marube Mabeya which occurred on 9th January 2020.

Son of the late Mzee Absolom Mabeya and late Mama Jeliah Mabeya. Beloved husband of Milkah Kemunto and Carren Moraa. Father of Gerald, Emily Osebe, Charity, Late Dolan, Emily Magoma, Kevin, Nelly, Gibson, John, Yunuke and Charles. Brother of Ondimu, Okwoyo, Ratemo, James, Machuka, Steve, Nyagaka, Bernard, Elijah, Ruth, Esther, Joyce, Tabitha, Mary, Priscilla, Susan, Isabella, Florence and the late Micah, Monica, Nyambeka, Bethsheba, Jemimah, Samuel, Charles, Johnson, Marcella and Mellen.

Grandfather of Brenda, Dalphine, Ian, Clinton, Camilla, Marylyn, Dolan, Olga, Darius, Zack, Taliah, Tracy, Charlody, Arania, Hadassah, Dwyne and Francis. Great grandfather of Gray and Craig. Cousin of the Monda’s, the Nyangoto’s, the Atika’s, the Agage’s, the Maiko’s, the Nyangusu’s, the Martini’s and the Naftal’s. Brother in law of Thomas, Andrew, Matagaro, Nyaberi, Mathayo, Nyangwansa, Teresa, Bosibori, Rebecca, Rose, Joyce, Ann, Christine, Theresa, Mary and the late Bosire, Michoma, Momanyi, Nyasoko, Makori, Mokaya, Kenduiwo, and Ebisiba. Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Serengeti Hotel and at his home in Kisii-Kerera location, Kerera sublocation, Kerera village.

Main fundraiser to be held at Serengeti Hotel on Wednesday 15/01/2020 at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Friday 17th January 2020 at 9:00am. Funeral service and burial will be held at his home in Kerera village on 19th January 2020.
