Dr. Edith Kendi Kimathi

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptances of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Dr. Edith Kendi Kimathi formally of Chuka Hospital – Tharaka Nthi County on July 24th 2018.

Daughter of the late John Kimathi Itunga and Josephine Kimathi. Grand child of the late Justus and Julia M’Itunga of Kironya, Naari – Meru: and the late Mr & Mrs Ciathambutu Nt’Ambau of Kianjai, Tigania East — Meru. Sister of Nelly Kimath of Posta and Munene Kimathi. Niece of Kiugu, Mwiti, Dr. Kirimi ltunga Susan Naitore, Mwonjiru, Mancha, Kauri among others. Aunt of Mellisa. Counsin of Dr Clifford & Glory Mutwiri, Noel, Florence, Felister, Julie, Kimathi among many others.

Family and friends are meeting at the family’s home Komarock, sector 1 for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital Funeral Home on Friday, 3 August 2018 at 8.30am.

Burial and funeral service will take place at the Father’s home Kironya – Naari thereafter.
