Dr. Esther Nyasani Mosomi

It is with deep sorrow that the Ombati family announces the sudden demise of Dr. Esther-Nyasani Mosomi (a part-time lecturer Kisii University and South-Eastern Kenya University SEKU, Kitui) which occurred on 30th May, 2025 at Avenue Hospital, Thika.

Daughter of Mzee Enoch Motaro Kiboi and Mama Wilksiter Nyambeki Kiboi of Keberesi village, Kenyenya, Machoge Borabu.

Wife of Dr. Robert Mosomi Ombati (Senior Lecturer Mama Ngina University College). Mother of Adriellah Kemunto, Abidan Ombati and baby Asher Motaro.

Sister of Wilfred (USA), Benuel, Ruth, Joyce,Alice, Samson (USA) and Nahashon (USA).

Daughter in-law of the late Mzee Hezron Ombati and Mama Orphar Ombati. Niece of Chief Naftal Omboga, Onuong’a, Adv. Nephat and others. Sister in-law of Christopher, Yunia, Evalyn, Zachariah, Pastor Ombati and others. Other in-laws are Caren, Mandere, Omweri and others.

There will be a main ONLINE Harambee on Tuesday, 17th June 2025 from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m through Mobile No. 0797 408 947 (Emily Ombati). We are appealing to you for financial support towards burial preparation.

The family and friends are meeting daily both at their rural home and at their Kimunyu Market, Gatundu South, Kiambu County.

The cortege leaves KU-TRRH Funeral Home on Thursday, 19th June, 2025 for burial on Friday 20/06/2025 at the family home at Nyamoteneni Village, Buyonge Sub-location, Majoge Chache, Kisii.
