It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Dr. Grace Aoko Omolo (PhD), Deputy Director, HRM at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, which occurred at Mp Shah Hospital, on 5th August 2019 after a long illness, bravely borne.
Wife of Rev. Willyse Nona Omolo. Mother of Mercy (Ministry of Education), Joshua (Businessman), Pauline (Consultant), Hon. Judith (Magistrate), Victoria (P&L Consulting), Elisha, Nelson (Strathmore), Faith (UoN), Esther (KU), and Isaac. Mother-in-law of Richard, Barrack (UN) and Alambo (KPMG). Grandmother of David, Biko, Martin, Noelle, Abigail, Joshua Jr, Hawi, Tara, Jayson, and lmani. Daughter of the late Mzee Elisha Aywak and the late Paulina Okoth Aywak. Sister of Samwel Otieno (Tamu PAG) and the late Albert Owino. Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Phillip Omolo and Jennifer Akeyo. Sister-in-law of Dorothy, Ruth, Aluma, Otis’. Odira, Hilda, Pamela among others. Aunt of Hon. Peter Kaluma (MP), Ben, Nancy, Elisha, Pauline among many others.
Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Kileleshwa, Nairobi and Rodi Kopany, Homabay near Ndiru Primary School for prayers and burial arrangements.
There will be a fund-raiser to defray the funeral costs at All Saints Cathedral on the 13th August, 2019 from 4.00pm. Friends and family may also send their contributions through Paybill No. 767616, Account: Grace Omolo.
Funeral service will be held at CITAM, Valley Road on 15th August, 2019 from 9.30am to 1.00pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi on 16th August, 2019. She will be buried at her rural home in Rodi Kopany, Noma Bay County on 17th August, 2019.
