Dr. JOHN MBUNDE

 Born: 25th December 1962 — Died: 12th August 2019

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Dr. John Mbunde of The Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA) on 12th August 2019 after a long illness. Dr. John Mbunde was the Head of the Department of Education at the time of his demise.

He was the son of the late Mbunde Oigoro and Alice Moraa. Husband of Grace Lumiti Mbunde of the University of Nairobi. Father to Brian Mbunde and Eng. Ian Mbunde. Brother to Evans Stephen, Yuneke, Naomi, Beatrice and Robert. Brother-in-law to Momanyi, Kennedy, Tom, Jackline, Beatrice, Rachael, Christine, Marubu, Inshow, Janelorah, Milva and an Uncle to many.

Meetings for burial arrangements are being held daily at his residence in Kidfarmaco Estate, Riverside Drive, Gate 161, Kikuyu Town.

The burial will be on Friday 23rd August 2019 at Nyanchwa, Kisii County.

A Memorial service in his honour will be held on Wednesday 21st August 2019 at The Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA) main hall from 10:00 am — 2:00 pm.
