Dr. Patrick Andrew Kamau Mwaniki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our family patriarch, Dr, Patrick Andrew Kamau Mwaniki, which occurred on 2nd July, 2019 at Annex hospital Nakuru, after a short illness.

Beloved Son of the late Evans Mwaniki Gichia and the late Margerita Wanjiku Mwaniki. Husband of Teresia Wanjiru Kamau. Loving father of Wanjiku Obiene, Mwaniki Kamau, Wambui Ongweny and Wanjiru Kamau. Brother of the late Isaac Gichia Mwaniki, Stephen Ndung’u Mwaniki, the late Joseph Mwaura, Cecilia Wanjiru Ndegwa, Jean Njeri Munene, Raphael Njoroge Mwaniki, the late Sebastian Njuru, Jane Wairimu Ndung’u, Dr. Gathinji Mwaniki, the late Ruth Wangari Karuri, the late Dominic Gichia, the late Hannah Wanjiru Ng’ang’a, Margaret Waithera Gitahi, Wairimu Kamonjo, Fr Francis Gichia Mwaniki, Cecilia Wambui Njoroge, Eng John Mutitika Mwaniki, Lucy Wairimu Mungai, Susan Muthoni and Annrose Wanjiru Gachini. Father-in-law of Peter Obiene, Lucy Wamaitha and James Ongweny. Grandfather of Ethan Kamau Mwaniki, Terry Wanjiru Mwaniki, Amos Kamau Obiene, Elizabeth Sifa Obiene and Shawn Patrick Ong’weny.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Thome residence (Mukuyu Road) in Nairobi at 6.30pm. At his Kandutura residence in Rongai (Nakuru) at 7.30 pm. In Nakuru town at Kokeb hotel at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves War Memorial mortuary, Nakuru, on Tuesday 9th July, 2019 at 9.00am. He will be laid to rest at his Kandutura home, Rongai (Nakuru).

He fought a good fight and finished the race.
