Dr. Rosemary Bagenda Koinange

25th March 1940 – 11th December 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dr. Rosemary Bagenda Koinange, wife of the late Dr. Wilfred Koinange Karuga which occurred on Thursday 11th December 2025.

Daughter of the late Samuel Kibwika Ndolombe Bagenda and the late Merabu Bagenda. Daughter in law of the late Charles Karuga Koinange.

Sister of Dan Muzito, Michael Kibwika Bagenda, James Kitaka Bagenda, Dr. Mitchell Bagenda. All the above have passed on.

Beloved mother of Samuel Karuga Koinange, the late Andrew Kibwika Koinange, Susan Nduta Koinange and the late Peter Wanduga Koinange. Mother-in-law of Mary Nyambura Wangere Karuga. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Koinange Karuga (UK), Adrianne Wabakwira Koinange,Wabakwira Kabiru Koinange, Melvin Kyalo Kilai, Shah Wabakwira Karuga, Imani Karuga Koinange, Joyanne Njeri. Cousin, aunt and friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her Loresho home only on Tuesday 16th December 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for prayers.

The funeral will be held on Thursday 18th December 2025. There will be a viewing of the body at MP Shah Hospital – Shivaji Road, Parklands, Nairobi from 7:00am to 8:00am.

The cortege will depart from MP Shah at 8:00am for the funeral service which shall be held at ACK St John Church – Kiambaa, at 10:00am.The final burial rites will be a private service.
