Edith Mmbone Mutongi

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Edith Mmbone Mutongi, which occurred on 6th March 2026 at her home in Kakamega, Kenya. Edith, formerly a resident of Davidson, North Carolina, USA, worked at several KCB Branches in Kenya for almost 30 years.

She was the beloved mother of Dilton Aradi and mother-in-law of Mary Wangui Kiemo.

Daughter of the late Hesbon Mutongi and the late Mama Rose Mutongi.

Sister of Graham Mahonga, the late Morris Mutongi, the late Befrey Kendeli, Margareth Opanga, Florence Otiende, Stanley Mutongi, Linet Mutongi, Kenda Mutongi,Vincent Mutongi, and Patrick Mutongi.

Loving grandmother of Natasha Aradi, Njeri Aradi, and others.

The funeral service and her burial will be held on Saturday, 28th March 2026, at her residence in Kakamega.
