Edith Patricia Akech Ondoro

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Edith Patricia Akech Ondoro of State Department for East African Community Affairs on 8th March 2024 after along battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Ogai Josiah Ondoro and Late Mary Ondoro. Step daughter to Mama Caren Akuku of Kakur village, Koguta Location, Nyakach Sub-County.

Loving wife of Duncan Oduo.

Daughter in law of the late Jorim Oduo and Yukabeth Atieno of Thurgem Village.

Loving mum of Eddie Duncan, Phyll Mich Duncan and Joe Hawi Duncan.

Sister of the late John, Rose, Thomas, Beatrice (EAC), Abraham (KRA), Simon, Daniel, Regina, Colleta, Akoth, Musa, Maureen (Kibwon Sch), Patricia.Auntie of many, cousin of many, sister-in-law of Jennifer, Bethuel, Major Edwin, Eunice, Mary, Kenneth, Emily, Judy, Eric, Ruth, Ezra and Dennis.

Prayers and burial arrangement meetings are being held daily at her residence in Maringo Estate.

The body will be removed from Bethlehem mortuary in Nyakach Sub-County, Koguta for an overnight vigil at her home in Agoro, Thurgem Village.

Burial will be held on 30th March 2024 at Thurgem, Awach Sub-Location, Agoro East Location, Lower Nyakach Division, Nyakach Sub-County,
