Edna Akinyi Amolo

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the Agere demise of Edna Akinyi Amolo of Ministry of Roads and Transport.

Wife of Michael Ojijo Odhiambo, who departed from us on 20.03.20. Edna was devoted mother of her two children, Mike Kata Ojijo and Tasha Beth Ojijo.

She was the cherished daughter of Lewis Amollo Ajwalla and Yucabeth Atieno Amollo. Daughter in-law of the late Daniel Ojijo Odhiambo and Margaret Ojijo Odhiambo.

She was niece of George Ajwalah and John Ajwalah and her other mother’s included Jane Amollo, the late Florence Owino, Jenifer Owino, Maryanne Owino and Peninah Otieno.

Edna’s departure leaves a palpable void, mourned deeply by her brothers: Frank Amollo, David Amollo, Kenneth Amollo, Seth Amollo and Churchill Amollo, alongside her sisters Veronica Amollo, Beryl Amollo, Peresia Amollo, Olivia, Winnie and Florence Amollo. She was also a beloved sister of the late Teresa Akello Amollo,

She was cousin of Roy, Beatrice, Pouline Mercy, Caroline, Quinter, Robert, Haggai, Abner, Linet, Bob, Levis, Irene and Felix.

Edna is aunt of Lencer Aoko, Laura Omondi, Lynn Omondi, Liam Omoro, Hawi Mesut, Brad Ogot, Erica Ogot, Lupita Amollo, Michelle and Arnold.

Her memory will be tenderly cherished by her extended family, including in-laws Judith Odhiambo, Janet Omulo, Sam Ojijo, Abel Ojijo, Grace Ojijo, Timothy Ojijo, Joyce Ojijo, Perez Ojijo,Agnes, Linet Ojijo and Allan Omuro.

Her body lies at Aga Khan Mortuary and will be taken on 01.04.2024 at 2:00pm for a night vigil at her home in Katani Mavoko and the solemn ceremony to honor her life will convene on 03.04.2024.
