With deep reverence for God’s divine plan, we share the passing of RTD (A.C.P) James Nyakundi Nyarienga on the 26th of March, 2024, at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi. He was born in 1946 in Nyamasebe Village, Gachuba location, Nyamira County.
James was the ninth child of the late Jeremiah Nyarienga, the late Kemuma Nyarienga, and the late Kerubo Nyarienga. Son-in-law of the late Nemuel Okindo, the late Tabitha Kwamboka, and the late Jemimah Nyakerario.
Cherished husband of the late Norah Moraa Nyakundi and the devoted father of Regina Nyaboke, the late Joseph Mokaya,Teresia Nyakerario, the late Vincent Nyarienga, Elvin Mokeira, Tabitha Kwamboka, Mercellinus Kemunto, Doris Bwari, Lilian Kemuma, and Cosmas Obwoge.
Loving father-in-law of Daniel Munyoki, Evans Oseko, the late Vincent Getwambu, Douglas Kebeno, Noel Mweu, and Yvonne Sheila.
He was also a beloved brother of the late Omayio, Bonareri, the late Onyiego, the late Nyagitari, the late Isanda, Bosibori, Omenyo, Yobensia, Samuel Okong’o, the late Mose, the late John, Moraa, the late Teresia, the late Atambo, Edward Okong’o and Misaro.
Cherished Korera of the late William Mutisya & Agnes Mukiri, Johnson Kiage & the late Esther Bosibori, Mankone Monda & Florence Mwango, Jackson Kebeno & Abigael Bonaneri, Raphael McKenzie, the late Rosebester Mbithe & Odilia Mutio, and the late Alex & the late Generose Murugu & the late Betty Mwendwa.
Doting grandfather of Patience Mawia, Brenda Mwende, Rolane Moraa, Emmanuel Mutinda,Anita Bosibori, Wayne Onderi, Joy Moraa, Jayden Nyakundi,Vanessa Moraa, Nicole Monchari, Abby Moraa, Ivan Kebeno, Malika Mbithe, Karl-Austin Nyakundi, and Damian Munene Okindo. He also embraced the joy of being a great-grandfather of Taj Jabari.
He was a brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
A celebration of his life and legacy will be held during the burial ceremony in Elburgon Town, Molo Sub County, Nakuru County, on the 5th of April 2024.
