Edward Muchai Kariuki

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved on Sunday, 10th August 2025 after short illness.

Born to the late Francis Kariuki and the late Miriam Wanjiru.

The devoted husband of Nancy Wanjiru and loving father of Sarah Wanjiru, Jacob Kariuki and Joyce Wambui.

Brother of Daniel Mwaura, JoeWainaina, Joseph Kamau, Margaret Wambui, braham Kuria, Ruth Wairimu and the late Jane Wanjiku and the late Paul Kagunyi.

He served with the Lands Ministry until his retirement in 2007 after postings in Kiambu, Thika, Wundanyi and Ardhi Hse.

He was a doting grandfather to many, loving uncle and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 5:30PM at his home in Ruiru, Gwa-kairu to fellowship and finalise preparations for the funeral.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial at his farm in Gathengera, Karati area, Naivasha.
