Edward Mwewe Matayo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Edward Mwewe Matayo of Malindi Treasury, which occurred at Tawfiq Hospital on 9th Oct 2020.

Husband of Zipora Dismas Nangolo, a teacher at Ganda primary school. Father of Salatiel Mwewe Matayo, a teacher at Witu Lamu County, The late Patrick Matayo and Celester Matayo, a medical staff. He was the second born of Mzee Salatiel Mwewe Matayo and the late Jane Hawayu, brother of the late PriscaTunda, Patrick Komora, a teacher at Marufano Secondary, Lydia Gullu, Jacob Mwewe, Kezia Mwewe, Yosiah Mwewe, Maria Salatiel and David Mwewe. Brother in law of Raphael Wario (Retired County Director Lamu County), Lina Hagayana, Edward Jillo, Allan Badaso, Pastor Haro, Patison Shujaa, Rev Genatone Funana, Hiribae Tufani. He was also brother in law of the late Stephen Shari, Jeremiah Gullu and Nahason Majaliwa. Grandfather of Desmond Mwewe, Edward Matayo Mwewe and Matayo Edward Mwewe.

The cortege leaves star Mortuary Malindi on Friday 16th Oct 2020 at 12 noon towards Wema, Tana River County. Burial will be on Saturday 17th Oct 2020.
