Elder Bernard Robert Njuki Marondo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Elder Bernard Njuki Marondo of Ishiare SDA Church, Mbeere North, Embu County that occurred on 14th April 2024, at PCEA Chogoria Mission Hospital after a long iliness

Son to the late Peter Namu Marondo. late Kaura Marondo and late Esther Waturi Marondo.

He was the loving husband to Beatrice Njoka Marondo.

He was the brother to Ephantus Nyaga, Abishag Igoki Nguru, Emily Wanditi Njiru, and Edward Njiru.

He was brother-in-law to the late Eustace Nguru Chigiti, the late Henry Njiru, Beatrice Muthoni and Abishag Ngai.

He was the loving father to the late Jackson Njue Marondo, Winnie Ngei, Dorothy Murega, Jane Freda Marondo and Grace Karimi Kinyua.

He was father-in-law to Janet Mutea, Fred Ngei, Martin Murega and Kelvin Kinyua.

He was the grandfather to Tony Mugendi Marondo, Sandra Wanja Marondo, Sanny Wanja Ngei, Maureen Mueni Ngei, Moses Mwanthi Ngei, Elvis Munene Murega, Jayden Mwirigi Murega, Derrick Muthomi, Denise Betty Mumbi, Davis Muriithi and Lisa Neatha Kinyua. Great Grandfather to Deborah Mwende and Janari Munene.

He was uncle to many.

He is a retired civil servant in the Ministry of Culture and Social Services as a District Social Development officer.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kanyuambora from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm; for prayers and burial arrangements,.

The cortege leaves Tenri Ena funeral home on Wednesday 24th April 2024 at 9:00 A.M. The funeral service will be held at his home Kithii village, Ngura Sub- location Kanyuambora Location, Mbeere North Sub- county Embu county.
