Son of the late Peter Birundu Mogitaba and the late Russia Kwamboka Birundu. Husband of Caren Birundu. Son in law of Omundi Maosa and Milkah Bosibori. Father of Fred Kiyieka, Violet Bosibori, Peter Birundu, Edna Bosibori, Tom Masongo, Linet Bosibori, Sarah Nyanduko and Hesborn Mekenye. Brother of Eunice Moraa, Prisca, Deborah, Jostah Song’oro (Gesicho Sec.), Gladys, Maureen, Sarah, Dorothy, Dr. Samwel Moracha (USA), Irene, Dr. Daniel Oyaro (Keumbu), Isabellah, the late Eucabeth Gesare and the late Norah. Nephew and son of Ibrahim Mogitaba, Elizabeth Mogitaba, Kerubo Ongeri, Mogitaba Moracha, Ongeri Oisebe, Moracha Ondieki, Nyanchama, Kemuma, Yunes, Mokeira and the lates Nyangweso, Nyanduko, Ongige and Korera of Morangia Sagwe and Patricia Kwamboka, Omwansa Bosire and Rudiah Kerubo, Charles Mageto and Sara Charles, Susan Mona and the late Absolom Mekenye.

In law of Peter sinyo, Peterson Moturi, Godwin Ogeto, Ronald Orucho, Jacob Ongachi, Samwel Kibagendi, Samwel Omundi, David Nyagaka, Sarah, Joyce, Onguso, Leah, Ragira, Teresa and Eric. Grandfather of Esther, Gesare, Kwamboka, Brianna, Bryson, Shane and Aberone.

The cortege leaves Ram Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 4th January 2019.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Sunday, 6th January 2019 at his home in Mochengo village, Mogonga Location, Masaba South in Kisii County.
