Elder Eunice Kageni Muindi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Elder Eunice Kageni Muindi of Skuta Farm, Nyeri County.

Eunice was the beloved spouse to the late Very Reverend Bernard Muindi, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) from 1991-1997. She had deep love for her family, the church, friends and a great commitment to ministry and mission. She touched the lives of many women and children in her work and ministry.

Mother to Tennyson & Anne Muriithi, the late David Muraguri, Anne Nyawira & Dave Shemenski and Timothy Murimi & Serena. A loving grandmother to Racquel, Noni, Zack, Makena and Munene.

Daughter of the late Justo Mucara Mwikia and the late Tabitha Kajigi Justo. Sister to Crispus Mundi, John Murungi, Francis Niagi, Permenus Riungu, Faith Mbiro, Phineas Marangu and the late Peninah Kanini.

Prayers will be held on Sunday 10th July 2022 at 3:00pm at PCEA Ruringu Church in Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves the Nyeri Funeral Home Outspan on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at 8:00am. The funeral service will be held at PCEA Nyamachaki Memorial Church at 9:00am. Thereafter, interment will be at the family home in Kathareni (near Chogoria), Tharaka Nithi County. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the Church Hall construction under the auspices of PCEA Ngaita in Chogoria.
