Elder Patrick James Mbogo Ngoroi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Elder Patrick James Mbogo Ngoroi which occurred on Friday 6th June 2025 at AAR hospital, Kiambu Road.

He was the son of the late Samuel Nyaga Ngoroi and the late Joyce Faith Njoki Ngoroi; Son-in-law of Paul Gathura and the late Joyce Gathura.

Loving husband of Josephine Mukami Gathura-Mbogo and doting father of Njoki Jodie Mbogo.

Great brother of Eric Peter Nyaga, John Mwangi, the late Dr. Allan Njogu, Moses Mugo and Daniel Kamau (USA).

Brother-in-law of Lydia, Priscilla, Susan, Phylis, Tole, Noni, Wanja, Richard, Andrew, Margaret, Timothy and Juliet.

Uncle of Faith Njoki Nyaga amongst others.

Nephew of Elisha Mbogo, the late Salvatore Mugo, the late Mary Njeri, Bilha Wanjiku Macharia, Nyambura Kirigwi, Josephine Wanjiru Kungu, the late Jennifer Wairimu Ngara and Captain Allan Lennox Kungu. A cousin and friend to many.

There will be a funeral service on 15th June 2025 at Karengata SDA Church opposite Galleria mall at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Monday 16th June 2025 for an overnight spend at Gakwegori Funeral Home in Embu. There will be assembly at Gakwegori Funeral Home on 17th June 2025 at 9.00am and cortege will depart at 9:30am for burial ceremony at their home in Karurina ltabua, Embu.
