Elijah Kamau Waweru

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr. Elijah Kamau Waweru of Juja Farm, Juja Sub-County, Kiambu County who went to be with the Lord on 11th May, 2019 following a short illness. The deceased was a Retired Lay Reader of the Anglican Church of Kenya & a former employee of East African Growers Limited, Nairobi.

Son of the late Waweru wa King’arang’ara & Miriam Nyambura; Beloved Husband of Justa Nyambura Kamau; Father of Moses Irungu Kamau of Laikipia University & Maryhill ENT Centre Nyahururu, the late Samuel Waweru, the late Miriam Wanjiku, Augustine Kiarie of Juja Farm Secondary School, Joseph Mwangi, Esther Wanjiru, Eunice Mugure & David Kaberere; Father in law of Agnes Irungu of Nyahururu County & Referral Hospital, Miriam Wambui, Laura Wanjiku & Willy Ng’ang’a; Brother of the late Joshua Wamugunda & the late Ruth Agnes Wanjiru Ngochi; Brother in law of Moses Mwangi, Robert Maina, the late Boniface Kaberere & Kiarie Munderu.

Uncle of Cecilia Wangui, Francis Waweru, Miriam Nyambura & Esther Wanjeri; Grandfather of Judy Nyambura, Robert Kamau, Maureen Kamau, Peninah Mwithi, Ruth Wanjiku, Mercy Nyambura, Mary Wangui, Elijah Kamau, Grace Mwende, Louis Kamau, Mark Karari, Elijah Kamau, Juster Nyambura, Regina Njeri, Hannah Wanjiku, Moses Mugo, Ian Kamau, Prince Muturi, Susan Nyambura, Alex Ng’ang’a & Lawrence K.amau;. Great grandfather of Amari Kamau, Tesling Kamau & Natalia Wambui.

Family & Friends tare meeting daily at the deceased’s home at Juja Farm for prayers & funeral arrangements in preparation of the celebration of a life well lived & a priceless legacy on Saturday, 18th May, 2019 at his home where he shall be laid to rest.

If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
