It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our Matriarch Mrs. Elishiba Wangui Gichohi.

Beloved wife of the late Fabius Gichohi Kigo. Daughter of the late Mathenge Rimiru and the late Monica Njeri of Kiganjo, Nyeri. Mother of Jane Njeri, George Wachira (USA), Charles Mathenge (Chase Apartments), Anna Wambui, Margaret Wanjiru, Benjamin Ndirangu (USA), Johnson Muturi, Fredrick Weru (USA), Rose Nyambura, Alex Maina.

Mother-in-law of Esther Gathigia, Josephine Wangeci, Bob Wakaba, Rose Wanjiru Caroline Wanjiku and Farida Thogori. Sister of Anna Muthoni and the late John Muturi. A grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many.

The cortege will leave Ol’Jabbet Funeral Home at 9.00am on Friday the 14th June, 2019. The funeral service and burial will take place at her home at Gwa Keni, Oljabbet.
