It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Elder Ashford Micheni Ntiba, (retired Inspector of schools-Muthambi and retired elder of PCEA Chogoria Church) on 5th June 2019.

Son of the late Thomas Ntiba and the late Alison Mukami of Ikaani, Kiambugi village, Tharaka Nithi County. Husband of Lucy Ruguru (formerly Chogoria Hospital). Father of late Grace, Kenneth Mwiti, Betty Gatwiri Catherine Nkatha, Stella Kathomi and Rachael Murugi.

Brother of late Kaumbuthu, late Kiraithe, Kaguna, Ntwiga, Muthoni and late Kinyua.

Father-in-law of Jacob Kinoti, Casty Gakii, Kyalo Nzuki and Fred Abima. Grandfather of Brian, Sharon, Lizbeth, Sheila, Ryan, Layla, Abigael and Shirleen. He was a cousin and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ikaani village from 4:30pm for prayers and in Nairobi at NorWich Union at 5:30pm.

The cortege will leave Chogoria Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 13th June, 2019 at 9.00am, followed by a Funeral service at PCEA Chogoria Church. Thereafter the burial will take place at the family home in Ikaani village, Chogoria, Tharaka Nithi County.

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
