Eliud Muraya Mathenge

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Eliud Muraya Mathenge on 8th September, 2018.

Son of the late Daniel Mathenge and the late Gladys Wangari. Brother of James Gatheru Mathenge and Njeri Mugo, the late Ruth Wanjiru, late Elizabeth Wachinga Mureithi and the late Raphael Nderitu. Loving husband of Teresa Wanjiku. Father of Joseph Ndonga, John Gathura, Gladys Wangari, Ann Muthoni, Lydiah Wanjiru, Simon Ndirangu and Miriam Wambui. Father-in-law of Veronicah Ndonga, Susan Gathura, Onesmus Kihato, George Maina, Martin Nyamu, Pauline Ndirangu and Simon Muinami. Grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Nyeri (Mathakwa-ini) from 5.00pm and at St Andrews P.C.E.A Nairobi on 12th September 2018 for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home- Outspan at 9.00am on Friday 14th September 2018 for funeral service at Mathakwa-ini Primary School grounds and later for burial at his farm near the school.

May the Almighty God rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
