It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to glory of Emily Nyagaki Karanja on 9/9/2018 at Othaya Sub-District hospital.

Daughter of the late Watene wa Gichu and Frechia Njoki Watene. Wife of the late Wilson Karanja Andrew. Sister of the late Wangui Kamondo, the late Esther Kirigo, the late Josephine Wanjiru Ndungu, the late Priscilla Nyambura Thuku and Serah Nyakirangi Muiko. Mother of Andrew Macharia Karanja (retired teacher), Simon Watene Karanja (fomer veterinary Investigation Laboratory Karatina, Njegas), Alice Wangechi Githiga (Mumbuini), Wycliffe Maina Karanja (Vector Health International – Tanzania), Godfrey Gichu Karanja (Businessman), the late Jane Nyambura Wambugu (Naivasha hospital), Gladwel Njoki Karanja (Miriam Target Academy), Milicent Wangui Karanja (Pioneer assurance – Nyeri), Naomi Muringi Macharia (Director – Lavenders academy), Esther Kirigo Karanja (teacher Nyamathi Primary – Naivasha)) and Humphrey Waituika Karanja (Director – Lavenders academy). Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Kiriaini Mission Hospital Mortuary at 9:00 Am on Saturday 15th September 2018 for the funeral service at Ack St Paul’s Kariki and thereafter the burial ceremony at her home in Kagongo sub-location, Chinga location, Othaya.
