Elizabeth Ambiyo Mokua
14th July, 1952 – 5th March, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ambiyo Mokua in Eldoret on Saturday, 5th March 2022, following a brief illness.
She was the loving wife of Dr Job Jared Masaki Mokua.
Beloved mother to Lawrence Mokua, Kemunto Mokua, Tom Mokua and Fred Mokua.
Doting grandmother to Elsie, Ian and Melody. She was the daughter of the late Jackson Aore Okwomi & the late Mama Elsie Aore.
Sister to the late Hellen Owano, Paul Okwomi, the late Henry Okwomi, Rose Mukoya, the late Amos Okwomi, the late Otiato Nasibi, the late Boaz Okwomi, Elisha Okwomi, Lilian Olimba and Velma Obote.
Cousin to Ephraim Amboye, Beldina, Prof. Reuben Nasibi and others. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. A fundraising is scheduled for Friday, 11th March, 2022 from 3:00 pm at the family home in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County.
The funeral service and interment is slated for Tuesday, 15th March, 2022 at the same venue.
Mama, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, You are loved ‘beyond words and missed beyond measure. In our hearts we will hold you forever.
