Elizabeth Njoki Njuguna Waitara (Wa-kabui)

 1936-2017

We announce the calling to glory of Elizabeth Njoki Njuguna Waitara on 4th July 2017. She hailed from Gathuru-ini village, Komothai Location, Githunguri, Kiambu.

She was the loving wife of late Titus Njuguna Waitara. Daughter of the late Wilfred Muiruri and the late Zipporah Wangari She was the loving mother of Gladys and James Ndegwa, late Onesmus and Gathoni Chege, Fred and Nancy Muiruri, Zipporah and -Charles Kingara, Jane and Henry Thuo, Lucy and Mark Omooria,Ayub and Dorothy Mugo. She was grandmother to Colllins Ndegwa, Nyakio Kingara amongst others and great grandmother to Alexis among others. She was sister to Wairimu Mutura, late Gladys Maingi, Njeri Chege, late Edward Thumbi, Stephen Theuri, Samuel Muiruri, the late John Muiruri, and Isaac Muiruri. She was sister in-law to late Jane & Peter Kabui, late Leah & Ephraim Gatiba,Tabitha & late James Karanja, Ayub & late Winnie Mugo, late Reuben & Ellen Mugane , late Nathan Njoroge, Arthur & Mary Waraga, Dr. Ndirangu & Ann Waitara, Miriam Wangari Waitara and Ann Njeri Waitara.

Friends and relatives are meeting at CITAM Church Valley Road from 6.00 pm on Friday 7th and Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th July 2017.And at her home in Gathiruini every evening. There will be a memorial service at her home on Sunday 9th July 2017 at 2.00 pm and CITAM Valley Road Church on Tuesday 11th July at 12-2.00 pm

The cortege will depart K.U. Funeral Home on Thursday 13th July 2017 at 8:00 am. and thereafter the funeral service and burial will be at her home in Gathiruini/ Githioro, Komothai, Kiambu county.
