It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Elizabeth Wanjiru Kahia of Kibathithi Village, Kagaa, Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late Njogo Kihara and the late Wamaitha Njogo.

Wife of the late Peter Gabriel Kahia.

Mother of Anne Wangari Kamau, Lucy Muthoni Magelo, Mary Nyambura Kahia, the late John Karanja Kahia, Margaret Njoki ltotia, Jane Wangui Mutisya.

Sister of the late Wangari wa Gikonyo, the late Thuo wa Njogo,Tabitha Wangui Kamau, the late Wairimu Mwaniki, the late Stephen Kihara Njogo, the late James Murfri Njogo, the late Stanley Kagunda Njogo. She was a loving grandmother to many and a cherished great grandmother to many more.

Meeting to be held at the All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday, 18th November 2025 from 6.00 pm.

Burial mass to be held on Friday, 21st November 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Kibathithi Catholic Church, Lari. The funeral procession will depart Umash Funeral Home at 7.30 am. The burial will follow afterwards at the Family home in Kibathithi Village, Kagaa, Kiambu County.
