Emmanuel Kirotich Cheserek

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Emmanuel Kirotich Cheserek aka Chericher/Chess of KRA, Nairobi which occurred on 12.11.2020 at Mater Hospital. He was born on 18th Nov 1970 in Kapsogom village, Endow, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Son of the late Cheserek Chericher and the late Talaa Cheserek. Loving husband of Selestin Kirotich. Father of Advocate Lonah Jepchumba, Brian Kirotich of McGill University, Canada, Kibet of Kenyatta University, Patricia Jeptoo (Kabarak University), Cynthia Jemutai (Kabarak University) and Derik Kilimo (Kepkeino Sec. School). Father-in-law of Oliver Kiplagat (EMC county). Grandfather of Reyner Tylon Kimutai. Brother of the late Ruto Cheserek, the late Chesir, Majerop, Macheboi, Stephen, Makomen and Jackson.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Rock centre – Eldoret, Kapsogom Lagam and Proffesional Centre, Nairobi for funeral arrangements. Harambee will be held on Wednesday 18th November 2020 at Proffesional Centre, NBI, home in Eldoret and Kapsogom – Lagam from 4pm.

The cortege will leave Umash funeral home Nairobi on 20th November 2020 morning for short  prayers at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Kiniumu Eldorot and thereafter to Kapsogom Village, Endo ward.

Funeral service and burial will take place on the 21st November 2020 at his rural home Kapsogom, Endo ward, Marakwet East Constituency – Elgeyo Marakwet County.
