It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will, and in thanksgiving for a life well lived, that we announce the death of Eng. Jecton Odhiambo Kiberenge, which occurred after a short illness.

Son of the late Gilius Owino Kiberenge, the late Phoebe Ayako Kiberenge and the late Angelina Obiji Kiberenge and Son-in-law of the late Kepha Ojwang Ongoro, Chrisabel Dinag’a Ojwang and Truphena Apiyo Ojwang. Loving husband of Mrs. Phoebe A. Odhiambo Kiberenge. Father of Dr. Judith Kiberenge (Mount Kenya University), Brenda Kiberenge (Mwalimu National Sacco), Denis Kiberenge (PWC Bermuda) & Nicolas Kiberenge (KRA). Father-in-law of Nelson Isioma, Negara Okumu and Christine Ipalei. Grandfather of Christian, Ian, Favour and Matthias.

Brother of James Kiberenge (Veterinary Kisumu), Caren Kiberenge, Fred Kiberenge (Simba Cement), Jared Kiberenge, Juma Kiberenge, Henry Kiberenge & Morris Kiberenge (Bamburi Cement). Brother in law of Charles, Jacob, Ruth Wasuna (Walter Reed Kisumu), Milcah, Christine, Eric Ouma (USA), Eng. Robert Ojwang of Ministry of Water & Sanitation and Irrigation, Steve Biko of Kenya Police, Francis Wasuna of Wasuna & Co Advocates, Jacob Obuya (Mombasa), and the late Martin, Willis, Dr. Ojwang, Ngala, Eng. Jaccojwang & Atieno.

Uncle of Mourine Achieng (Express Shipping & Logistics Ltd), Roseline, Phaustine, Emmanuel, Wendy, Angela, Vincent, Calvin, Brian, Okoth, Eric, Purity, Nancy Olouch (British Council Kenya), Caroline, Isaac Oduor (USA), Terence, Nancy Oyoko, Jean-Margaret, Antony Wasuna (Wasuna & Co Advocates), Antonina Wasuna (RSA), among many others. The main harambee to offset medical and funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at AIC Milimani from 5.00pm to 7.30pm.

A memorial service shall be held at AIC Milimani, on Thursday 19th Nov, 10.00am. Burial will be on 21st November, at his home in Ayweyo Village, Kano East, Kisumu County. Covid-19 burial protocols shall apply.
