Emmanuel Okeyo Obade

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Emmanuel Okeyo Obade of Gem Asumbi, formerly of Vector International. He was the CEO of Beyond Matrix.

He was the son of the late Stephen Obade and the late Mama Margaret Obade.

Uncles John Aliet; Charles Olum, the late Lawrence Odero and His Excellency Dr. Evans Kidero.

Beloved husband of Sarah Angir. Devoted father of Tevin Omondi,Treva Obade and Joy Rebecca. Brother of Julian Owino, Treza Obade, the late Mary Adoyo, lsdorah Otieno, Emmelda Juma, the late Jane Odhiambo, Pascal Obade and the late Veronica Adhiambo.

Son in-law of the late Timotheo Angir, Joyce Angir and Leonida Angir, of Alego Kamser Kendu Bay. Brother in-law of Silas Ogweno Angir, Benjamin Angir, Kenneth Angir, Sammuel Angir, Tom Angir, Benson Angir, Joseph Ondigo, Calvince Kitoto, Moses Otieno, William Adoyo, Nicholas Gor, Obel Akoko and Omolo Akoko.

Cousin of Albert Aliet; Edwin Aliet of Gem Asumbi; George Odero, Omondi Olum and Evans among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and arrangements in Nairobi at his residence home in Syokimau.

There will be a fundraiser to offset funeral expenses on Monday 25′ August 2025, at All Saints Cathedral – Nairobi starting at 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa on Wednesday 27th August 2025, for a night vigil at his home in Syokimau. The body will leave for his rural home in Gem Asumbi on Thursday 28th August 2025. The burial will be held on Friday 29th August 2025.
