Emmanuel Wangila Weyusia

It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved teacher Emmanuel Wangila Weyusia which occurred on 9/10/2019 at Thika Level 5 Hospital after being shot by unknown people at him home in Thika. He was a teacher of Music/English at Thika High School and also student at Kenyatta University.

Beloved Son of Samson Kilobi Weyusia and Beatrice Nasimiyu Weyusia of Bungoma. Brother of Mary Kilobi Atwoli (KTN), Elizabeth Kilobi, James Weyusia, Daniel Weyusia, Ruth Kilobi, Debora Kilobi (St. Paul’s University Limuru). Fiance of Monica Mithanga (Marie Stopes Kenya, Mombasa). Brother in law of COTU Sec Gen Hon Francis Atwoli and Patrick Opiyo (Webuye District Hospital). Uncle of Kyle, Lloyd, Jayvyn and Myles. Grandson of late James Kisilili and Selina Kisilili (Kitale) and late Samuel Mamai and late Agnes Nelima. Cousin of and nephew of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their Bungoma home for burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Life Care Hospital Morgue on Thursday 17/10/2019. Funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday 19/10/2019 at their Kabula home in Bungoma County.

There shall be a memorial service on Wednesday 16th October 2019 at Thika High School Chapel at 1.30pm.
