It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Eng. Elijah Mbatha Kithimba of Kakuyuni Kangundo, Machakos, who passed on, Saturday 14th March 2026, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Kithimba Kyambo and the late Anna Munyiva Kithimba. Son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs. Musau Yanga.

Husband of the late Agnes Mumbua. Father of Caesarine Waeni, the late Patrick Mutiso, Robert Makau, and Betty Munanie. Grandfather of lmani T.

Brother of James Maingi and the late Rina Kithimba, the late Florence Ndila, the late Daniel Guy and Margaret Kithimba, Muithya, Nzau, Mutisya, Mwania, Wanza, Mary among others.

Brother-in-law of the late Peter Musau, Alice Ngina, Milka Kamusyu, among others.

Uncle of the late Alex Maingi, Ndanu, Mwende, Ndulu, Mutinda, George, Carol, and many others. Cousin of Nzungi, Kiilu, Musyoka, Dorothy, Wambua, Nzau, Mwanza, late Kaunge and Kathukya among others and friend to many.

Engineer will be buried this Friday 20th March 2026 at his home in Kakuyuni, Kangundo at 10am.
