Eng. Nelson Korir

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Eng. Nelson Korir, the Former Project Manager Kimira Oluch Smallholder Farm Improvement Project ( KOSFIP)- Homabay, Ministry of East Africa and Regional Development which occurred on 6th November 2020 in St Luke Hospital Eldoret

Son of the late Isaac Ngasura and Esther Ngasura of Cheleget village. Son-in-law of Joseph and Eunice Maina of Kipkeikei Village. Husband of Linner Korir. Father of Dr. Daisy Korir (KMPDU and MTRH), Dr. Maureen Cherono (MTRH), Emmanuel Bert (Kabarak University), Faith Chepngetich (Kenyatta University) and Mercy Chelangat (JKUAT). Father-in-law of Arnina Cherotich. Grandfather of Kipla and Chemu. Brother of Stephen Korir, the late Wilson Korir, the late Nancy Rotich, Lilian Tonui and Jeniffer Kirui. An Uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at his Farm in Kapseret, Eldoret and his home in Cheleget, Bomet County.

The cortege will leave the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Farewell Home, on Friday 13th November at 8.00am for a memorial service at his farm in Kapseret Eldoret and thereafter the body will be taken for a night stay at his home in Cheleget. His funeral service will be held on Saturday 14th November at his home in Cheleget Bomet County as from 10.00am.
