Erastus Mwangi Danson

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Erastus Mwangi Danson, popularly known as Baba Judy, which occurred on Wednesday 28th April 2021.

Son of the late Danson Njoroge Kaniu and the late Eunice Muthoni Danson. Brother to Janet Njoki, Beth Wambui, Damaris Mukuhi, Eunice Njeri, the late Samuel Ndung’u, the late David Thuo, the late Edward Maina, Ruth Waithira, Mary Wamaitha, Mercy Nunga, the late Lydia Wanjiru, Ephraim Kamau and Joseph Mwema.

Husband to Veronica Nyambura, Father to Judy, Joyce, Jane, late Catherine, Njoroge, Wambui, Mukuhi, Jimmy and Ndung’u. Grand father to Vivian Nyambura, Derrick Kamau, Shalom Kibisu, Alvin Macharia, Beatrice Mugure, Nahum Wambari, Caleb Eason, Adrian Inziria, Kylian Mwihia and many more.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday, 5th May, 2021 at 8:00am followed by a funeral service at Ruona Catholic church at 10:30am. Burial will follow thereafter at their home in Githuya village, Ithiru location, Kandara Sub-county, Murang’a County. In line with Government protocols, COVID- 19 restrictions will be strictly adhered to. Both the funeral service and burial will be on live stream.
