It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Eric Stephen Obura which occurred on 08/08/2019 after a short illness at Nairobi Women’s Hospital-Adams. Eric was a former player of Gor Mahia and the_National team Harambee stars.

Beloved son of Boaz and Monica Aloo Obura of Lower Nyakach, Kisumu County. Loving husband of Eunice Obura, dotting father of Neville, Nicole, Kisher and Kyla Obura. Grandpa of Tafari. Brother of the late Henry Obura Millie, Grace, George of KRA, Joshua and Nobert Obura. Son in law of Javan and Florence Omwaka. Brother in law of Christine, Trizer, Maryann, Mary, Lily, Maggie of UK, the late Freddie, Suzie, Willy, Late Bernard, Eddie and Larry. Uncle of Lisa, Jessy, Garvin, Kate, Channel, Natalia, Frangshier, Natasha, Owen, Siegel, Tamika among others. First Cousin to the Sigoti’s, Kolas, Ojunga’s, Ouko’s, Akach among others.

Family and friends have been contributing through paybill no. 760919-0 (acc your name) to offset hospital and funeral expenses.

The body leaves Nairobi Women’s Hospital on Friday 6th September for funeral and burial services on 7th September 2019 at East Kabodho, Asao Location Lower Nyakach, Kisumu County.
